On May 9, 2025, Russia celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people’s victory in the Great Patriotic War! On this important day, we remember all the heroes who died in the war and pay tribute to the veterans.
It’s hard to overestimate the achievements of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, who fought hard on the battlefield, day after day, to liberate our homeland from Nazism! That’s why May 9 is a sacred date for every Russian.
On behalf of the Officers Union for International Security, I would like to congratulate all our compatriots on this great day and also express my gratitude to the veterans for their courage and will to win! The road to victory was very difficult, but our resilience was and remains unshakeable!
Unfortunately, Nazism is resurfacing in various corners of the world, but I’m convinced that our brave soldiers will not dishonour the memory of their ancestors and will ultimately crush the enemy, wherever it may be!
